it doesn't seem to hurt her, but im really not sure... I think its a bone, it is projecting out from the side of her neck. the skin goes out to a point, and its hard.... you can see black at the tip through the skin

I'm so very sorry to hear your sweet little chick is poorly, @ButtonquailGirl14 ! Wish more than anything I could be of invaluable help, but I know absolutely nothing about quail.... How's the munchkin doing now?
