Hello Friends and My Other Respected Seniors, Please help me about my hens and roosters.

I have 1 hen and 2 roosters in my chicken coop, My hen is opening his mouth to breath, Her nose is runny, My hen is 15 months old and she is ill for 2 days, Please help me, I have tried medicine " syptran D " but the result is useless, Please suggest better advise for my chicks, I really love my hen, Its so beautiful for me.....Please Its Urgent and Its Emergency

My hen had that a few months ago! You should separate your hen from your roosters if you havn't already. Give her her own food and water dishes and care for her individually. I didn't give my hen any medicine and she got well. If she gets worse or doesn't get better all I can recommend is taking her to the vet. The vet may not even be able to do anything but, it's worth a shot. Please keep us posted. Good luck to you and your hen!!!!

Very thank full to you and lemontea66 also for giving me advise, Hey @RoosterAddict99 how much time or days your hen is takes to be fine? and please explain me what dishes should i give my hen ? I already separate my hen from my rooster.. Please help me and reply me again.

Just a little FYI...two roosters with one hen is two roosters, too many. It is possible that the stress from the two roosters has made your hen sick. One hen cannot handle the amorous attention of two roosters.

Tylan can be give orally or injectable. You can put the dosage on bread and give it to her that way, also. If you do use the injectable method, remember to draw back the syringe before injecting. If you see blood, pull out. If you inject an antibiotic into the blood stream, it will kill your hen instantly. If you decide to go with the oral dosage, it is given for 5 days. I've never used anything but Tylan 50. Tylan 200 is an awfully large dose for a hen. The .5mls is the dosage for a large fowl chicken and that's for Tylan 50. The dosage for a bantam is .25mls.

Good luck with your hen.

I do believe that Roosteraddict just meant that you need to provide your hen with her own food and water. Keeping these separate from your roosters so that they do not become sick from whatever is infecting you hen.

There was not any problem with two roosters before, and my roosters are not wild, My roosters are very good with hen, They are together from 15 months, I was 2 hens and 2 roosters, i was putted 1 hen and 1 rooster in each coop, 2 roosters are not together for 3 months. but my 1 hen was died 1 month ago.

Hi again, it took 3 days for my hen to fully recover, but I started seeing improvement after the first day of special treatment. By dishes, I just meant give her her own so, she gets all she needs. (any dishes she can easily eat and drink out of) By the way how is her appetite? Whenever one of my chickens isn't feeling well for whatever reason, the won't eat as much as normal.

Thanks again my dear friend, God bless you, Could you please explain me a little bit thing that what should i give my hen to eat ? I am just eating Rice, Potatoes and Tomatoes daily and what do you mean by drinking water ? Simple Water or Green Tea or Coffee ? Please tell me, I am just confuse about this that what should i give to my hen, Today i was gave the Kothimbir, Tomato but she is eating these things very slowly, Means that she like these things for 15 months but now, She is eating very slowly and she is eating few small pieces only.... Please Suggest Any Advise for me so that i can conform that what should i have to give my hens to eat.

Do you mind my asking what coutnry you are in? Can you get chicken food? Your hen needs layer feed that is made for hens of laying age. Your roosters can have this also. Their diet as you described in lacking in nutrients for them to be healthy.
