I recently just noticed my hen laying on a corner. I moved her inside and she isn't standing up or moving at all. Could she be in shock because of the rooster? She can still move her head but shes a bit wobbly.

anyone know why shes like this? Any suggestions on how to help?

@Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive @aart What do you give her for calcium daily / as needed? I saw one of the three posters suggest a calcium tablet immediately for similar symptoms (assuming she wasn’t attacked / in shock for any reason).
My guess was that shes like this because of a rooster, before this she usually puffs up and runs when any rooster gets near so she problably got attack (her back has dried up blood but its not alot).

For food i think we give our chickens game bird feed and laying hen or meat hen feed if i remember correctly.

Update: she just stood up but shes awfully wobbly, did she get a leg injury?

Another update: she now knows how to drink from a bowl of water. I added nutri drench to her water to give her extra nutrients. She also drinks quite frequently.
Is there any water in that water station?
Hard to know what's going on.

If she's hiding out and avoiding the rooster - then penning him up may help. It looks like she's being mated quite a bit.
Work on getting her hydrated - give plain fresh clean water. Then offer some nutritionally balanced poultry feed.

Telling us what you feed would be good - a photo of the tag or the bag?

Does this hen lay eggs?

Nah - extra calcium, I would give if a hen is egg bound, prolapsed or having difficulties with a soft shelled egg.
Oyster shell free choice is what I provide. 1 Calcium tablet probably won't hurt, but it's good to know what's going on first.
