EMERGENCY: MY CHICK WAS ATTACKED

Im so sorry for you. I know how it feels to lose a chick because Ive lost 2 before.
You should probably get your other chick another chick because she will be lonely.
I get what you mean about the other chick crying, 2 of my chicks were buddies but my puppy killed one.

I need help!! My chicken was fine until i went out 2 hrs later and she was making a high pitched chirping sound. She is a turken necked neck and usually very friendly. However she was running from me when i went up to her. She acts like she is coughing but its a squeaky sound. She has blood on her beak and she shakes her head and blood comes out from somewhere im assuming her beak. She is eating fine. The onlly thing i can think of is possibly a cat got into her pen. Also she is gurgling. What can be wrong.

Make sure she drinks & eats. Feed her some treats to calm down. Try to stop the gasping.

I did feed her some mealworms and she ate alright but still gasping.

Make sure your yogurt doesn't have sugar in it because sugar is bad for chickens.
