EMERGENCY!!! My silkie is gone! Please HELP!!!!

I use to have a problem with a coon trying to get to my hens, so I just called a friend that has several coon dogs and just so happened the dogs need some practice, ie no coons any more

I don't think I would be able to do anything about this because the predator probably lives on the farm behind us and I would have to ask permission before I went hunting it down. They would ask why, I would give away my chicken secret, and maybe they'd report me.

Your problem here is not a cat. I have house cats, barn cats and feral cats and none of them have ever been a nuisance with chickens. Only the smallest chicks are in danger from a cat and if you protect them til they are bigger that's it.

Sounds like a coon to me.
