Bought some 100mg niacin tablets that are instant release and some nutritional yeast to give to the teacher who has the duckling. He looked more awake today and is eating and drinking. We put the yeast in his food. Was thinking of trying to tape a small ball to his feet to open them up. Saw that someone else on BYc tried this. Poor baby. Hope we can fix him!

Don't understand the ball? I tape (band aid or vet wrap) the chick's feet straight, if need more support use a thin cardboard.

Maybe you can do some physio by manipulating the leg/feet manually to get them moving without the duckling walking on its ankles? Good luck

Unfortunately the duckling passed away over the winter break. The teacher tried her best to help him but he didn’t make it
