EMERGENCY...Orphaned Baby Piglets!!!

We live in Tucson, have a small hobby farm.
Thanks for all the advice I will get to work tonight building her a pen to call her own and try to catch her to move her. Are they like dogs where you can express milk a couple weeks before they are due? or do they get it when they are about to go into labor. I will have to check her if I can. What are the signs of labor?
Thanks!

Now I want a pig

She's a lucky, lucky pig. What a sad start she had. You certainly have some work ahead, but hopefully everything will go just fine. One of my pots may be having a littler in Oct., and I'm excited but also a little nervous.

By the way, what are AHH?

And as a side note, as you speak of her and where you got her please keep in mind that AHH were not intended as pets, that market is a relatively modern invention and one that has done a lot of detriment to AHH as a breed. Their original purpose -- one they continue to fulfill on many, many farms to this day -- is as the meat producing livestock that they are.

Shavings are the best to use for bedding, in all honesty like a previous person said pools/mud is not good for the piglets very easy for them to get stuck (and mom to accidentally lay on them and kill them. We actually built a doorway for mom to go in and out. And once they were big enough the piglets were able to get out also.

We have AHH or potbelly pigs and they are great pets! Our male anf female love us like crazy they follow us every where! Hope you can find some great homes for them
