EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP BABY PIGEON IN NEED

other pigeons scalped both of them
I had scalped squabs before also. I cleaned the wound with just a salt water solution and used a Polysporn Ointment without any dressing to treat the problem. In time the squabs made a complete recovery and you were unable to detect the injury. Of course every case is not the same.
I feel the odds are on your side.

Most squabs to not survive the initial attack.
All the BYC post to date give solid advice.
Good luck with your challenge I feel you will take appropriate steps.

Thank you everyone for your advice...dads news to say the one squab passed away last night...he wouldn’t eat the peas either I got a few down and then some more mixed food then he was ok that morning but when I got back at night he was laying over gasping so I knew he was a goner....his wounds were pretty bad I didn’t figure he would make it anyways, I wrapped him in a warm towel and held him until he passed on which took about 4 more hours...on the bright side the other squab I have is growing like crazy!!!!
