Hi everyone, I'm completely new to chicken keeping, and my partner and I hatched out 4 chicks 2 weeks ago. They have been kept indoors in a diy chick brooder and have all been happy and healthy til now. One of the chicks (unknown breed - yellow/ginger in colour and developing whiteish feather- light sussex?) has suddenly become lethargic and unsteady on her feet. She doesn't seem to be eating or drinking so I have fed her some sugar water and water and separated her from the rest, but she has pure liquid diarrhoea. I'm so worried and don't know what to do and I reallty don't want to lose her.
Is there anything else I can do for her?
Forgot to say....the heat lamp in the brooder was off for an hour and she may have caught a chill. Also just rang the store where we bought the chick crumb and apparently its not medicated.
