Emergency!! Positioned wrong/Assisted hatching! Please help!

Absolutely not! We are using the male gender as a default. Lol! If they are male/female, we will keep them as a pair. If they are the same gender we will be getting two more babies as soon as we can tell, so that they will each have a partner. :)

Hello friends! We just wanted to give you a quick update on the brothers. We are now coming up on their 2nd week, and already they are almost 4x their size! We are putting a stock tank in the garage and hanging their lamp out there. We have a spare lamp so that we can test the temperature consistency before they get moved. We have another snow storm coming, so we figure if it can hold its temperature, then we have found a new brooding space.
They are eating veggies and regularly trying new foods. They love it! They have outgrown the sink for bath time, and now we have to use the tub.
They are fearless, intelligent, strong kids. Every now and again, they will playfully charge Ryan (or "not-mom" as the boys call him) and then run away as he pinches their butts.
I know that we have said it many times, but again, thank you everyone for the love and support that you gave us through our hardest time. Thank you all for the encouraging words and the knowledge that we gained from every one of you.
And if it wasn't for Dr. Lacrystol, these babies wouldnt have made it out. Thank you so much. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We ended up with incredible babies, that seem to surprise us every day. This has been, easily, one of the best times of our lives, just watching them develop and learn from us and their environment. Now we understand why ducks become an addiction.

Such a warm story on this cold morning! So very happy the boys are thriving. Our first chicks are a week old today. I bought them as day olds and I worry constantly about them. I cant imagine the stress if I'd had to assist in their births. You did such a good job!:yesss:

Thank you so much for updating and posting pics! They are adorable and getting so big!!!! Enjoy them...they will surprise you and make you smile each step of the way...yes they are addicting little bundles of love that steal your heart
