is this a young emu? We have an older male emu and he wont step on or up into anything. I got him a baby pool but wont step into it. Do you have any suggestions for me?

I have a male emu. We were given him from a family that lost their land and so I am learning as I go. We are having aggression issues with him. When we got him he was so sweet and my kids could lay down with him, but a few months ago a fox got in and got our rabbits who were housed right next to him. Since then we is hissing at us and growling and chasing us. Does anyone have any ideas how to tame him back down? We would really like to have fun with him again.

We have a lean-to shelter for our guy. He goes in at night and when it rains. He likes some kind of shelter.
