Emu Egg Hatch-along

Pics
I was staring at my 2 remaining eggs this evening and think my eyes were playing tricks on me. You stare so long that your eyes start twitching lol. I thought I saw a slight movement, but at 36 days in my experience, it's should be much more obvious. I think my eyes were seeing things! 🤦‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️
Yeah it's so hard 😅
I hate leaving it out watching it too long either. I mean should it for sure be wiggling when I watch it by now?
At 11.00 am it was exactly 31 days ago, When I put the egg in in the incubator.

Start getting more and more nervous😂

The temperature difference between both ends has increased, after 6 min. at day 25 it was 1.3*c today 2,6 *c
Are you seeing any wiggling yet?
🤞
@MGG How is your egg doing ?
Not sure, haha. Hopefully it's alive but I'm not seeing any for sure signs yet.

Very good to know. Are either aggressive or ornery during being season in any way? Were they both hand raised and raised as siblings? Or do you
The person that had them before we got them raised them together from around 4 months old I think? They’ve been around people, dogs, and horses. As nice as they are I never take for granted that they could hurt me or someone else. Fred has never been aggressive. Ethel did get ornery during mating season and kicked at my husband once. He was fine. She hasn’t done that with me. But again still a big animal!

Good to know. Yes, I am hoping hand raised well help them stay calm and safe. But always necessary to respect their size and innate behaviors.

That has me wondering how my horse would react to an emu. She freaked out when the fillies in the pasture next to her were playing with a ball.

@FNF I tried taking a page out of your book and I bought a new playpen and put wood chips down. Now I'm having a panic attack that they're going to eat them and get sick and die. What was your experience? I mean I know it's normal for them to pack and taste them.
