I named them names that start with the same letter as their eggs

Soooo, instead of eggs A B C D E and F we have emus...

2 girls and 4 boys
Aubergene, Bartimaus, Constantine, Desdemona, Ezekiel and Ferdinand

Tues: C pipped malpositioned and was assisted and F hatched on his own.

Wed: Holes made in E D and B. E and D were malpositioned and assisted to hatch.

Thurs: B was assisted and A hatched on her own

In place of wings they have CLAWS!!!! Like a T rex!!!!! Tiny stubby arms with CLAWS!!!

they're soo cute I've never seen baby emus, we see wild ones on the way to town some time though

AMAZING BABIES! AMAZING PICTURES! How do you tell males from females? My 3 are doing well, but I'm not getting wiggles . However, they have passed the heat test, where you give them a few minutes out of the incubator and test the ends of the eggs and the small end stays warm while the air cell end starts to cool (supposedly that means there is a live chick inside). I'm going to give them a few more days and try whistling at them again.

when I bought my silver phoenix breeding pair,the man put some random fertilized eggs with the hen and said I could have them.the chicks ended up looking like funky dinosaurs.
