40 days before any thing affects the hatching rates. It's because in the wild a male waits up until he gets up to 11 eggs before he starts sitting and the girls lays an egg every three days so like, that's about 33 days for the eggs to be sitting around in the wild for some clutches.
Mine were about 30 days old and i had 6 of 6 hatch

Proud to say our first emu ever just hatched yesterday, after a good 54 days of incubation. He/she appears healthy for the most part, but does have a minor crossbeak- I know this can be fatal in chickens, I'm hoping it won't be too serious for an emu. If anyone has/had a crossbeak, I'd love to hear about your experience.

I believe there is a rule on this site that it didn't happen if there aren't pictures lol

Pictures would be wonderful! :D

Howdy you lucky Emu owners- I am completely jealous of you!

I was hoping that one or more of you would have unfertile Emu eggs you would be willing to sell in N. Ca or blow out and ship. I am wanting to create a display for our poultry club & county fair to show the variety of eggs that come from poultry. The more interesting the better! Suggestions are great, but actual eggs are even better!

You can PM with what you have and how much you would charge. I really appreciate the adventurous spirit in you all! Have a fantastic Easter!
