I don’t do any supplements. I just give them a balanced pellet diet, then add greens and berries. They love a good spinach or kale salad. So far so good!

What brand of pellets do you use?

It’s a 20% protein organic grower/all flock type feed, as they grew up with chickens and turkeys. It’s a local mill/multi feed producer called Conway. They do have their own ratite feed, but it’s not eaten very often.

I give babies supplements to support healthy growth, but for the adults I just feed a ratite pellet (Mazuri Emu Maintenance or Poulin Grain Ratite) and give them their veggies and fruits and that's it
