LOL No... not y'all! (this time)

My DH and Father in Law went to go pick up some wood. On their way home, they stopped in TSC. Can you see where this is going?
FIL says "Hmm, they have chicks"
DH: Mom won't let you have them.
FIL: You can keep them at your house until they get big enough to not need heat.
DH: Oh Fine... we already have 20 chicks, what's 6 more?

After they get home and Mother in Law says "Who did you buy them for? Unless YOU plan on taking care of them because I'm not!"

FIL: Hey Meghan (my 4yo DD)... look what Opa bought you and your sisters. Have fun with your new chickies!"

Soooooooooo..... add 6 brand new babies to the bunch! They look like white leghorns, but we'll see. Off to set up the little baby brooder again :::sigh:::

HAHA And no one can blame these on me. I wasn't even there.

I did tell DH that since he didn't veto these babies, he had to help me with them this time. We have DD's Communion coming up on the 25th, so he's got 9 days to get building another outside brooder for these babies. AND a larger run to add on to the other "teenage" brooder.

Oh, and today is his birthday! [IMG]
