Hi all, Ducky donna has some really good tips.
Last year when I started out with just 3 ducks I had a similar set up. Whatever made me think that I could stop at just 3 ducks! Since then I've has 3 hatches and increased my flock to 7 ducks in total. Expecting another hatch in the next few days! OMG keeping ducks is addictive. Last year I built a bigger pond and am now planning a third next month.

That is really nice...Where do you get those big slabs of rock?
I had a 1/3 acre pond and it became so much trouble. I got duck weed in it and had to pay $500 to have it sprayed, and I hated doing that to the wildlife although they said it didn't hurt fish, etc...but you never know.

Hi, slabs were sourced via ebay UK. £2 per slab and I think I got 25 in total. They're just stepping stones but were ideal as they were not too thick and heavy.
