Encouragement for New Hand Quilters! My VERY First Quilted Item (humiliating myself here, LOL)

I am amazed at your talent!

It's beautiful. And your stitches are soooo tiny. And believe me, I've seen some big stitches, LOL.

Thanks! Well, it's done except for the border. Fingers started tingling so need to take a break to check on the chickens. Will get back to it in awhile.

ETA: It's finished, now to do the binding and the hanging sleeve on the back. May not start that until tomorrow, but it will be done shortly.

Binding is on and pinned on the back, ready for whipstitching. Should have that on by the end of the day, then the sleeve for hanging. Took it outside in natural light to photograph. Too bad I don't have an outside design wall! So, Karen, what do you think?

I think it's absolutely awesome! Something to be displayed , of course after I take it to work and show it off! Sometimes that natural lighting shows off the quilt work better, and in those other pictures, and the wrinkling does show off how soft it must be.

The colors blend well, and are not too fallish, springish, or winterish, just a nice blend.

Can't wait!

Looks great Cyn!
The next project looks awesome too. I just went and got a 60 degree daimond from the fabric store today. I had to go to a couple of different places before I could find it. Need it for the tumbling blocks pattern I want to try.

I love tumbling blocks, just never did one. The Log Cabin quilt is for Ellie. I did a spring/summer watercolor quilt for her and now she wants one for fall/winter. It will be backed in flannel.
