Sadly, Hildegarde was killed by a fox soon after she stopped laying there so I never knew. I've had various other crazy Leghorns though!

Thank you, I miss my Leggies so much. It was a horrible time. She ran into her coop to escape the fox but he squeezed in and bit her to death.
