English Orpingtons - Clementine's last egg hatched !!

My last Clementine egg hatched this morning and it is a fat little splash baby.

Will take pictures and post later when he/she is all fluffy and dry.

So "The Churchills" flock (our 100% English Orpingtons) is now a total of 10 - Winston and Clementine, and 8 chicks !! We're pretty happy and excited about that.

Beth - I am so excited to get a splash. We had a little splash boy from W&C, he was a couple of weeks younger than The O's. Not really sure what happened, but he died at 5 weeks. No signs of any trauma. We assume it was from the heat. After that, The O's came back in "the big house" for another couple of weeks.

We are really, really thrilled with our flock thus far. I'll get some pictures this weekend of them all and post.

My 12 week old splash is a rooster.and the most beautiful of all.
