Is this triangle space I have at the top of coop enough ventilation for mid Michigan ? It is the same on the other side

Welcome to BYC.

That ventilation is located at the ideal place -- the very top of the coop. Heat and ammonia both rise and need to escape.

The square footage of a triangle is it's height multiplied by it's base then divided by two.

You should have 1 square foot of permanent, 24/7/365 ventilation per adult, standard-sized hen -- or enough that the temperature and humidity inside the coop is the same as the temperature and humidity outside.
