I want to let my nephew enter a dozen of our eggs at the local Grange Fair/ Farmers Fair.
Does anyone have any idea how they judge them? What would a winning egg look like?
Thank you for any advice.

if you enter a carton of eggs, they want them all to be the same color and size. the point has to be down. they can't be wrinkled or misshaped. i was going to enter that in my fair, but i didn't know when to bring them and ended up missing it.

Thanks for your info. I also called the fair and they said to have them all uniform and that they crack one of them open to judge.
Here are the classes:

1. One dozen brown eggs
A. Small B. Medium C. Large

2. One dozen white egg
A. Small B. Medium C. Large

SECTION
1A. Guinea 1D. Bantam 1G. Other Fowl
1B. Duck 1E. Araucana 1H. Pheasant
1C. Turkey 1F. Quail

In the County fair in my area, people can't bring small eggs.
