Epic FAIL treats......

Carrots.

I can give 'em whole, cut 'em up, slice 'em up, peel 'em, stew 'em, bake 'em, fry 'em, throw 'em, leave them in the feeder, WHATEVER them, and no one, not even a chick or a really hungry hen/cock will eat them. . . Is it because they're ORANGE?!

Are bannana peels bad?

I haven't found anything they won't eat!!!!!! Yogourt I had to try twice, but they love it now.

Try telling an EE she's got yogurt stuck all over her beard & ear tufts!
(the one place they can't get)

Oh yeah...also... our chickies LOVE (cooked) corn cobs on ground...hung one up for a little extra entertainment, none of them could realize what it was.
Day after day after day after day...we took it down when it started to get moldy.

Dumb birds.

I thought I would be the Hero of the Universe when I bought mine a box of Cheerios, but when I poured them into the treats dish, they ran up all excited at first, then I had ten chicken faces starting up at me like "Really, dude? CEREAL? Thanks but no thanks, Diamond Jim." Not one chicken even picked up a Cheerio to try it.
Then one of the little red hens walked up and kicked me right in the in the shin, and ran off at full speed with turbo (wing) assist.....

Bread. They look at me like W.T.F? I find the dog grabbing it days later and chewing on it. Gross.

But chicken lo mein? They go nuts over that. Freaks.

I buy mine plain yogurt and they like it, but they don't go crazy over it. It's almost as if they get their prescribed dose of it and then walk off. I just dump it in their treats dish, and one of the small "single serving" cups is just about what my ten chickens will eat...any more than that is a waste on my nine girls and one rooster.

YMMV but I use plain organic stuff, maybe 1-2 tablespoons on a plate with stuff sprinkled on it. Sliced cukes are fun. Some boss or scratch works too. In the summer I fill a small kid cup about an inch high and freeze it. Unmold and serve in a bowl and they eat that up. It actually looks refreshing enough to try some myself but something about it covered in sand told me not to.

You can easily mix it in other stuff like scrambled eggs or oatmeal too.

I took my crew out a box of corn flakes. opened the box as they jumped up at me trying to get it out of my hands! poured it out and they stuck up thier little chicky noses at me and turned their backs. spoiled brats. YET if i crumbled it up in pieces and put it in a dish? they went at it. UGGGGG!!!!

Mine two roos especially love Budwieser with Lime. giggle giggle. Try walking in the coop door with a beer bottle in hand. You better run for the hills.
They will chase you for shelled peanuts also. Love yogurt (key lime please) also.

ALL time favorite?????
