Hey, try giving him some peanut butter and crackers. It has nothing to do with the rotten eggs, but it's a hoot watching him try to get it off the roof of his mouth.

I purposely feed the chicks that don't hatch to the dogs. Sometimes they pip and don't pop. They think it is candy and they dont' get sick, don't get gas and I bet they would like to get one or two every day.

I concur with buckeyelady - no to salt, yes to hydrogen peroxide. But he'll probably be fine (after farting his head off).
