So I have 7 grown hens (and 6 pullets). I fence part of my yard outside of the covered run for them to get some more room yummy bugs. My fence is about 3 1/2 foot high. Most of the chickens do just fine staying put but I have 2 girls (amber links) that escape daily. We have clipped their wings and they still get out. Any other advice on how to keep them corralled? They are decimating my flower beds, And are inching toward early retirement.

You could try putting something along the top of the fence, But most of those kind of chickens just don't stay put. Ideally you would have a taller fence...

I’ve seen my chickens squeeze under fence that I thought was impossible. I was trying to get them to jump back over the fence with mealworms when they said “it’s easier to just pop under.” Lol
