It's up to your friends. If they like your rooster and want some eggs where he is the sire, then they will do the deal with you. If they don't want to, for any reason at all, they will decline.

No, personally, I would not breed a poor quality bird, or a mixed breed bird into my flock. I don't have any temperament issues, but if I did, I would get rid of the bad tempered bird and try another one who was top of the line show quality, purchased from a breeder who breeds for good temperament. Breeding in a poor quality bird would set me back for many generations.
For a mixed breed flock kept for eggs and meat, I don't see where it would matter and then maybe it is reasonable to add a bird simply for outstanding temperament.
The only birds I've had with flawed temperament were purchased from a hatchery, so that would make me even more cautious about adding a poorly bred bird to my flock. You have no way of knowing what genes might be lurking unseen, waiting to surprise you.
