Tread lightly here, people. This subject has the potential to blow up in your faces. Could be a good discussion if no one gets personal, but...this is your first warning.

Unless you have a foot bath and use it between every pen, then yes, the likelihood is that it is in all coops.

Most people do not find out what they have, therein lies a big problem, as most do not get a necropsy done.

Actually, I have separate coop shoes, but I don't sell eggs so this isn't about me. I was just bringing up a point that these things should be asked about before a person is accused of being unethical in their practices.

horsejody~ This thread is about no one in particular. If you read back, I posted two general topics. Please don't make this about someone specifically. That will only cause trouble. Thanks.

This was not meant to be an accusatory thread, just some thoughts and points to ponder.

And when I say "you" in my previous postings, I mean a general term that applies to all.

Hopefully you all know too, that there was someone local to me that sold sick birds and knew it, so this is a sensitive subject to me.

Can we drop the part about the thread that was closed please.

i think its really none of your OR our business what others do with their flock...if YOU have a concern...dont but their eggs..

..also, if this isnt directed towards a person...it seems very odd that this follows a thread that just got locked that you were posting on reguarding a specific persons "sick" birds....umm...does anyone else see it? or is it just me?..

...leave the person alone already..geez!
