What beauties!! My Rosaleigh looks a lot like your Dottie, has a little more yellow in her but very similar. The two that I have hen/roo both have the prettiest yellow legs-always though how interesting! We really enjoy ours, especially Emmett he is quite and very dosile. Love the pics!!here are some photos of a few of my girls.
Annie, she was my broody girl who hatched out 7 babies this September. Just started laying eggs again 2 weeks ago. She has white legs but carries the yellow gene, therefore most of her babies came out with yellow legs. Sires had yellow legs.
Dottie, she is a millie, but the friendliest of all my EOs. She is filling out nicely. No eggs yet from her.
Goose, she is the same age as Dottie. I like her coloring and body shape a lot. She is more skittish, but it might be because the cockerel is paying more attention to her. No eggs yet, but she sure looks ready.

I got a pullet egg yesterday and today! 51 grams and 58 grams today! They both came from Goose.
Maybe--I'm not sure. I have 7 chicks, about 5 weeks old, and one of them has a bad leg. It's out to the side, and kind of goes back. The longest toe is also curled. I tried splinting and made a little boot for the toe. The toe straightened some, but the leg would not improve. Now I am wondering if I should have euthanized her earlier. But the truth is, I didn't notice the leg was bad until she was almost three weeks old. It was over the holidays, and I am ashamed to think I could have been so negligent as to have not noticed, but it's possible. It's also possible that it developed over time. That's more likely, because it's pretty hard to miss, and I did have these chicks in my house.Has anyone had a marraduna with a slipped tendon? I hatched two of these yesterday and one appears to have a slipped tendon. I thought it was spraddle leg and have been treating as such, but now it seems like maybe it is a slipped tendon. I have not been able to slip the tendon back into place.![]()
