Euskal Oiloa ( Basque Thread)

Hello everyone, I am located in So Cal and have a beautiful boy that my parents won't let me keep (only hens allowed) he has been completely hand raised, is as friendly as can be and will very happily ride around on your shoulder. Ideally I would love to get him a great home where he will not become a meal and possible get a hen in return (I'll take a baby too). The main thing I want for him is a good home though!

Hmm, the pictures are sideways, oh well. He has absolutely no pure white feathers on him, his feet and beak are bright yellow and his color is bright, detailed and intense. Ask me if want any more info on him!

He looks very nice!

I am too far away from you. I hope you find him a good home.

He looks like a carbon copy of one of my roosters here in Florida, only younger and smaller. Very nice.

The Marraduna Basque chicks from Megan are 5 weeks old and today was brooder cleaning day! They got to hang out in the yard for a bit.

I have 2 pullers and 3 cockerels. One pullet has nice yellow legs. I was worried that the Cockerels had white legs but realized that I was comparing them to the Pita Pintas. They are light yellow and will darken up as they get older.

The Five week old flock walked bravely past the chicken grow out tractor with a 5 month old White Bresse watching them closely.
