I have had some chickens for almost a year now and have been bitten by the bug!  I really liked all the information that I found on EOs.  So I got some EO hatching eggs that have been in the incubator for 8 days now.  Looking forward my EO addition.

Hallo Basque Hen fanciers! I just hatched my first Euskal Oiloa chicks! I have 2 precious little balls of fluff. I can't wait to watch them grow up! I was hoping to get some more hatching eggs from the same person, but sadly, her flock was wiped out by a predator :-(. Does anyone here have EOs with good body type laying XL to jumbo eggs that I could buy some hatching eggs from? If so, drop me a PM. I look forward to learning a lot from all of you as I get started with this breed! Thanks.....

Things are going well so far. The EO eggs are a little hard to candle. Tomorrow, I move 7 cream legbars to lockdown. Along with the EOs, I have 12 Swedish flower hens and 8 blue wheaten ameraucana hatching eggs on the same time as the EOs. Got my NPIP/AI certification last week (VA 52-268) and plan to attend the NPIP tester class in March. It will present certain conveniences as well as support to the community.
