Euskal Oiloa ( Basque Thread)

Amen! These birds are very friendly. I have rooster Freddie and his 2 hens right now. Rosie and Essie have just started laying eggs.

Rosie seems very protective of her egg tho when you go to pick them up. She comes over to the nest box and chatters away at me.

Yesterday I caught Freddie sitting on their eggs when I went to get them. Either he was tired and wanted a soft place to sit or he was telling me

"No more picking up the eggs! Rosie gets too upset and I can't stand her complaining to me all the time". I told him not yet in a few months Rosie can have her eggs if she is still interested in them.

We have 9 more eggs due to hatch out this week that I got from the same guy who sent me the 6 eggs last yr. Hope they have the same personality as these 3 have.

Sounds like a great plan Ron. We look forward to seeing how things go for you and your flock. How are your HRIR's coming along?
They are two weeks old and are coming along nicely. I need to clean out their brooder so I will work on some 2 week old photos soon and post them to the HRIR site.

They are very friendly too.

I need your help. Could you help me to find good sites to buy R-COM Maru 380 incubator?
Please, uk or irish sites because the prices in Spain are too high.
Thank you!!!!

Hi!

I do not know of UK or Irish sites for things. Do you have some EO pictures to share?

Hi sebastopol! It's good to have you back!

I hope you find your incubator at an affordable price. If you bring me some Euskal Oiloak I will give you my GQF Sportsman.

Thank you for the picture. More would be greatly appreciated. Have you been to any shows this past winter?
