Anyone have a well started breeder quality cockerel they want to sell? I lost mine to sudden death yesterday and my other boys are all very young. I am in Sacramento area of CA.
Sudden death is awful! We lost one just earlier this year

Hello,
I am in Newcastle and have a very good looking Euskal Oiloa Basque rooster (Buster) he was a year old in April.
I was going to breed them but need a second run as he and my Dark Cornish skirmish over the Bard rock hens.
If you are interested I would be willing to let you have him for a pair of breeders next year when your flock has recovered.
This would give me the time to get the additional run done as well as a few other projects for the wife.

Well, I got one lone chick Basque and one coronation sussex. I didn't think that any would hatch because coming to La from Pa was just too much. Especially with only one box. They were packed well and no breaks but scrambled. He's sending more for me in Sept. I'm thankful. I had them in the incubator by my chair in the bedroom and I would hear the two of them knocking on the plastic. Standing there looking me in the eye. So different from other birds. Love it.

I am happy that you have one at least--and a buddy to keep company with.

Better hatching next time!

Here's hoping you got a sweet little pullet!

Well since this thread has been quite I thought I would try and wake it up again. Here are some pictures of my birds. What do you think? Any faults I should be aware of?
