Our dog looks that with them till they are 3-4 weeks old, then he ignores them!

Well here you are James, MD and everyone else! Merry Christmas! Man I haven't checked in for awhile and look at all of the new EO lovers. Nice to meet everyone

. We are happily hatching up here. Even though it is cold out, we have hatched about 150 chicks lately. I have all the EOs in together so we will see the results soon. I think I will start the trio breeding soon. Love the interest in this wonderful breed!

Two pullets at 6wks...

Two roos out of the same batch - I'm liking the one on the right...

I'm still working on the pop door and ladder out of the coop, so I let them out by hand to stretch out and run around with supervision. These guys lineup at the big door for me to lower them to the ground - then after they've run around for a half hour or so and gotten chilled, they come gather around my feet for the elevator ride back up.


Who - me spoil chickens? Nah!

pretty birds, Maggiesdad. love the coloring of your pullets and i have a cockerel that's the spitting image of your boy on the right. sigh. so many chickens, so little time...
