One thing I have noticed beside the unbeatable friendliness is the size of their heads are larger than normal, thick necks. This is actually brought up in a magazine I think the name is "The Poultry mag" where a judge is talking about the importance of the head and neck size being important. I think my mag is in the car or has been missplaced for now but when they talk about the SOP in judging my eyes glaze over like when I get a Dr, bill or my checking statement. Now they DO NOT mention EO's in this article but just the head size and me comparing EO to my other chickens I've noticed something different. I REALLY hope someone who knows more about this can pick up on this subject. I have missed this thread terribly but I have looked a little here and there and I'm SOOO glad to see pics and the interest in this breed!!
