I'm so sorry for you loss. Firemen are a band of brother for sure. My brother had been a volunteer fireman. When he passed of lung cancer, his other "brothers" stood as Honor Guard at his services and took his ashes to their final resting place on the pumper which he operated. Every Memorial Day they remember him and others like him with red and white carnations and a flag.
