I know we've done this before, but here's some to add.

My mother had a question about water ordinances in West Branch, MI so I looked them up.

In addition to that, I found 3 pages of a 50 page .pdf file dedicated to "adult entertainment regulation" (% of merchandise and sq. footage to qualify, SOMEONE had fun writing that)

--You may not park a snowmobile on the front lawn, it must be behind or to the side of the house

--All monuments including tombstones must be under 70 feet in height

--All sandwich boards and signs must not be left in the middle of Main St. You must place them on the sidewalk in front of said business

Gov. has just gotten way out of control.

Many of the silly laws are really old- just never bothered to take them off the books. Where I grew up it was illegal to spit on the sidewalk, and illegal to walk barefoot on the sidewalk- because you can catch some disease from stepping in spit! There was something about patent leather shoes too.

In New Orleans it's illegal to transport a corpse in a taxi cab. (But in Ohio I saw a nursing home put a corpse in the bed of a pickup truck!)

obviously at some point in time, this had been a problem to such significance it needed a law to keep people from doing it. Just how many snowmobiles get parked in the front yard to create such a problem?

Its illegal to say Ar-Kansas in Arkansas. I guess someone really didn't like Kansas

I think its funny to hear people pronounce Arkansas how its spell't. Its Are-Can-Saw ya'll!

all dead horses are to be disposed of at the roadside.

This one actually went court recently!!! The garbage collection agency had to clean it up after months of fighting over who's job it was
