Ever been slapped by a dove???

Haha oh dear this is more normal than I thought,I thought I was going to have a hard time trying to convince people my dove slapped me,I bought my sister down to there hutch saying "look it slaps you" I put my hand in and obvcourse the dove stood there staring at me like I was crazy!!! Thats the moment I knew my dove was evil LOL!

I guess I should feel lucky. The male has always given me clear sign to stay away. He comes forward and cocks his right wing up and back. I'm going to bet is isn't as painful as a too pummeling can be.
