I admire her for going back through our garb! She will soon comment on the pic of Lindsie if my memory serves me correctly.

Dang, woman! You are just a newlywed. No wonder you still like him! Says the one who has been married 18 years (after quickly doing the math to figure out how long it's been...whoops)

ROFL I just read back through all the other pages and saw the previous ghost talk. I had not yet read that when I posted this. Weird...

I have to share with you all my cat food story from yesterday. This is just the way things happen for me. Story of my life.

I actually ran out of cat food yesterday morning. Completely. I tell Des as we are leaving for work "We have to pick up cat food before we come home this afternoon to get ready for the game". I immediately remember it when I step to the front porch with a dozen or so screaming cats demanding they be fed. On our way back to town we decide to take time to stop before we leave for the game since it would be late getting back. I ask her which store would be quickest/easiest to get in and out of. She tells me Hy-Vee (grocery store) I am skeptical and tell her I think Dollar General would be the better choice. She went on to tell me that sometimes it is slow getting through the line and out of there. I think she doesn't know what she is talking about so we swing in and grab our food, gloves and some cleaning products while there. I get to the front, holding the heavy sack with the other stuff waiting very impatiently for the slow person and cashier to get done, get up there to find out their debit/credit machine is down. This isn't the first time we have been down this road with them either. You would think that they would post a sign on the door or something to let you know before you gather all the crap that you can't pay for because you want to use your card! We walked out and I went to Hy-Vee. I hate it when she is right!
