Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

That was pretty much it. Except I also had 2 bottles of Gold Peak Tea and a 44 oz iced tea. Apparently the word gold in the Gold Peak is a serious matter! I tried to tell the lady that it didn't sound right and did she ring up the coupons for the 2 free ones? Yes she did and that is what her register told her. The first time it was $48 something and when she did it a second time it came up to $50+! Again, I tell her it doesn't sound right. So, she talks to me like I am a 2 year old. "The bacon cheeseburger one is $15.99" "Yeah, I got that" "The ckn bacon ranch is $15.99" "Yes, I got that too." "You get the other 2 free with your coupon" "Right, I am still with you, but you are telling me that 3 teas is $20?????? Listen to yourself Lady, does that sound right????"

This went on for way too long and the line was backed up all the way around the store by the time I finally got out of there. That trip 2 blocks away took us 45 minutes!!!

Did you finally win the fight? That better have been darn good pizza!!

She did finally get it down to an amount I agreed to pay, although I am not entirely sure it was right. She then looked at me and said "I have done the exact same thing every time, I don't know how I came up with a different amount." She also gave me 2 coupons for a large breakfast pizza for $10. I gave them back and told her we weren't going down this road again. Besides, I could have picked up a fistful of them in the back off the counter while waiting way to long for my pizza to begin with!!

A big waste of time. One mother (the same one every time) took over the whole thing and told us how it was when Kyle was a senior a few years ago and basically ran the show. Since she has already went through this once, it not only makes her an expert, but she also constantly reminds us that she doesn't want any more football "crap" around her house. She is the one that also didn't want the banners. (so sorry ma'am that you don't like "Jamie" near as much as we like our boys) I don't know that we ever came to an agreement over anything. Including where to hang the flipping banners. It was an epic fail.

Women like that are the sole reason I don't join any committees or clubs. You can tell me to cook or bake anything you want and where to drop it off and I will do that. But don't have a meeting and pretend like you give a mouses rear end about my opinions because we all know that you know best and are really just going to tell me what to do and when anyway!!

I agree with this one, i tried the whole get involved in an organization thing, and it just was not for me. I would rather put my energy to working with kids, volunteering with a hospital or anything like that than to sit down with a bunch of people with an Agenda.

The sad part is, I didn't "join" this. It is for all football parents and being a responsible parents we have gone to several of the meetings. I would be so much better off if I were dead beat like most of them are!

no you didn't, you did not say mustang -- OMG, Raymond you are going to rule. I had a Mustang when I turned 15, couldn't drive it by myself until my birthday. It was a 1970 Blue Mustang Coupe with a 351 Windsor V8 engine. Love it.... I would love to have it back, I I have dreams that I still have that car.

this is a picture of a red one, mine was royal blue almost the color of the blue strip menu bar here on BYC
