Glad you are thinking ahead, i usually don't and run around trying to find a working flash light.

i want to do a hatch one day. have to wait and see which way life is going to take me first.

okay y'all,

I fell at PF Changs on September 24th. Didn't tell management or anything. But my elbow is still killing me. It is almost like a chip floating around. It only hurts when I lean on my elbow -- i know, don't do that --. When I touch it I don't feel anything. just when i lean on it. I don't know what to do or if there is anything that can be done. I am tired of it hurting, but it may be something that I just have to live with. No other symptoms just the sharp pain that goes through my arm when i lean on my elbow.

Yep, I was about 15 or 16 at the time. His only remaining relatives were some sort of distant cousins -- my piano teacher. That's how we initially met him. He became family to us, really.

When he died, they sold off everything he had in an estate sale. I was at school during the sale and was unable to go pick out any remembrances of him. Thankfully, my grandmother did go. She brought me home his typewriter, a lace crochet bedspread his wife had made many years before, and a calendar we had given him as a gift. Inside the calendar were a couple of pieces of simple artwork I had made and given him. I still have all of those items today and treasure them dearly. They are among the things I'd keep if I had to pare down my possessions to a bare minimum.

Rozz that is such a sweet story. he was very lucky to have a family take him like your family did.

ETA: I worry since I was unable to have children, that I will be alone when I get old. I have lots of nieces and nephews that I plan to bribe throughout life so they will be there for me when I am old and cranky.

HFLL--ouch next time you need to report accidents so Workers comp will cover everything in full for you:-( Is there any docuamentation of your fall??? You need to get it xrayed:-( I hope it doesnt continue to really bother you

No no documentation -- My DH took me there for my 50th. I was walking to the bathroom and bam the next thing I knew I was on the ground. I shook it off, tried to get up and NO ONE was there to help me up -- There were waiters standing around, customers at tables and NO ONE offered to help me up. Finally I looked up at one of the waiters and said would you please help me up. I was mortified. When I went back to the table and told DH, of course he laughed, our waiter was there and said are you okay, I am so sorry to hear this, would like for me to get the manager, and DH said there was no need that I was a tough cookie. Now when I mention it to him that it still hurts he said it wasn't worth a free dessert to get management involved. I know you can say it (A --)!

ok what did you fall on?? You can have a case for this place covering your medical bill. Do you think the waiter would know you and verify you fell and got hurt? go to the doctor=get it xrayd-do you not have ins???
