Football! That sounds like a great excuse! I would really like for Frank to join us, but I don't know how him or his Foster parents feel about him not being with his siblings that day, but maybe he can come over for later in the day. If that is the case I will just tell my Aunt that Frank is joining us for a quiet dinner at home!

Yes, just tell your Aunt you are "expecting" Frank that day and want to be available for him. She should completely understand. Or, I can call and chat with her.

Ok now it's time for you to go run and errand....I can't get anything done when hatching and go nutz hovering, so I run and errand and when I come back they've moved on to the next phase...I guess I've seen so many hatch now, while it's still an amazing miracle and I can't believe it, I have realized I need to get a grip... oh not really, but it's fun saying it

No problem, that's what friends are for!

I used that phrase earlier regarding our newsman. He takes off at least 2 days a week because he is sooo busy

and his work lands on everyone else. Well, bossman and sportsman are gone today and leaving the "burden" on him. (about time!) I told the board op that if he doesn't understand how much they do for him and won't suck it up and do the same for them to send him my way. I will be happy to chat with him and explain the situation.

He didn't send him back, but the offer is still open!

Just got off the phone with Kenny. There is black ice on the inter state. That might get him home early

I know he was hoping to be off at a decent time for Raymonds Bday dinner but I am sure he could do without the black ice.

I had lunch here at the station with Des and hubby. Lindsie's brother sent us some venison summer sausage, so we had it with cheese and crackers. Btw, we tried the roasted vegetable Ritz crackers and they were wonderful!! Then, Des and I took off and went shopping at Pamida for a little bit. Hubby told me I am ready to move everything back in my cabinets, so I needed to get some liner to put down to get that started. We were gone way longer than we should have been, but we were just looking around. I am hoping to get out of here early since the boss is gone and I haven't accomplished much today anyway.

Yay! for Kenny getting home early. Tell him to drive carefully! They were calling for rain/snowflakes this afternoon, but I think it is all going to miss us. It is still cool and cloudy though.

Oh I am jealous! I love cheese. sausage and crackers! When I was a kid the only time Mom served that sort of thing was around christmas and New Years so I always looked forward to that. Isn't that crazy? All the work she put in to baking and cooking for the holidays and THAT was my favorite
