Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Just cleaned the brooder. My babies were quite mad at me.

Had to clean bunny pen & coturnix cages, too. Still have one more to do but it's the one in the garage & is waiting for tomorrow. Got the basement all swept up. Time to STOP for today & have a Cider, and maybe watch a show (or not...may read instead).

Morning everyone!

Isaac is still sleeping, don't usually roll out till 9 lol.

Sevedo is out scaring all the deer away. Don't tell him I said that.

Poor thing, he tries. He goes out every chance he gets and never sees a thing. I keep telling him it's cuz he takes a shower every night in regular scented soap and shampoo and wears clothes that have been recently washed in my very strong scented detergent. Well, strong scented to the deer anyway.
Had a friend drop a deer yesterday afternoon then it got back up and they couldn't find it. Looked way into the night. Sevedo helped them. They are going to try and find it today. Temps are cold enough if it is dead it will still be ok. Hope they find it cuz they were going to give it to us.

How have all yall been doing? Anyone else up this early?lol

Hey all! Figure I'll say good morning now (even though it's not quite morning yet). After all. you'll probably be online long before me. If you haven't done so, scroll up (page 1501...or maybe 1500) and look at my new "baby" pictures. They are at the awkward stage.

Had a good Thanksgiving weekend here. Got lots done on Sat & Sun. My entire outdoor to-do list has been marked off. Or, rather, the stuff that needed done desperately is marked off. There are always other tasks (anyone want to come dig the last of the old bricks out from behind the shed? This is a good time..while the snakes are asleep & all. Of course, the bricks are now frozen into the ground, but hey...use some muscle power!)

Built a bunny castle today. Really it's just a large indoor fenced area (5x8 foot). 2x4 & 2x3 frames, vinyl covered garden fencing with the small openings, olive green area rugs...nice bunny pen! He now is safe enough in that so that I don't have to shut him in his bunny kennel at all.

He likes his kennel but I like knowing he doesn't need to be shut in. He's irritated with me today. He let me know I didn't spend enough time with him (I was building his cage...) and then was irritated that I was moving things around in "his world" to assemble the pieces. He should be happy again in 24-48 hours. He has a bit more space than we'd given him before but more importantly I don't feel like he can get into much trouble now. He's safe to stay out overnight. (He probably was before...but I felt more secure shutting him in. Remember, he's an inside bunny.)

I have irritated an old shoulder injury. Never knew what I did before but oh well. It's sore again. Hopefully it'll fade soon. (Hoping it's just the shoulder and not also my upper back...we'll see where it's radiating after it settles down a bit!)

What??? You ladies are still snoring away? Here I posted late last night figuring I'd be the last one around.

It's Monday? Darnit! I was hoping for a Sunday redo.

'Fraid I didn't get much sleep last night. This shoulder is really sore. Couldn't find a way I could sleep at all. (I can type but that's because I don't have to change the height of the arm to do it.) Finally got a bit of rest after 3 or so this morning. Lucy woke me up promptly at 8, of course.
