I loved that show too! It has been a long time since they have run it on TV. I am not even sure Des has ever seen it!

I don't even know what show you're talking about...

Destiny was concerned. She showed me the pic immediately. We were in the middle of decorating but still didn't get done. The new snow should put us more in the mood for it. Between the warning yesterday and Carol breaking her hand, the festive mood just didn't come to us!

Yea I meant to ask you about Carol. What the heck happened?

And Thank you for being concerned, I just had to share it with you, after all, you knew about the car first

That still makes him mad that you knew that it was out in the shop weeks before he did.

Well, you tell Raymond to be careful with that gal, I am still promised a ride when I get out there!!

We have made up many stories about Carol's hand, but sad truth is, she was chasing her injured donkey around the lot and slipped and fell! It has put a screeching halt to her bowling career and pretty much anything to do with her right hand! It was a spiral break below the pinky finger and her knuckles are all bruised up and swollen. They have her wrapped up pretty good!

He got pretty darn lucky really! There are a few ditches out here deep enough to roll him over

Shudder. I remember our neighbor boy (years back...not up here) stealing the family car one night. He was about 14 at the time. Yup, you guessed it. He flipped it in the middle of the night...in a water filled ditch. Somehow that boy made it out of the car alive, walked home, snuck back into bed, and left the car there. In the morning, the car wasn't in the drive. I'm not sure how long it took him to fess up to being the thief.

I've seen SO many cars flipped upside down in those ditches out around where we used to live. More than once I've crawled down in to make sure there wasn't a person in the car. The scariest was the time that one was partly submerged and the radio was still going and the tires were still spinning. No people, though. Turns out they were all illegal immigrants and had taken off for the trees... Didn't know that then, of course. I was sure I was going to find people hanging from the seatbelts or dead under water.

Gee thanks for making me feel better Roz

There you go, Destiny.

It's vaguely familiar to me when I watch a YouTube video. I know the voice and the face but wouldn't have known the show without googling.

I was old enough when it went off the air to know the show but that was the phase where we watched tv mostly right after school (after school special) or on Saturday mornings.

Hmmmm I might need to get some DVD's of the Brady Bunch. That would be a great addition to my DVD collection. It's also one I'd watch cover to cover. I could have put that in my letter to Santa...

She sent me a text earlier saying she had snow flurries too.

I will see what I can do about it. There is just so much she missed out on in the 80s that it is going to take me a longggg time to straighten her out!

I can't even explain why either, but I hear the theme song and everyone in the house is scrambling for the remote

I never cared for Seinfeld either but my sis sure is a fan. Then again, I never watched Friends either.

She did be sure to point out to John that it will be a good long time before she can do dishes again! lol I feel for her. When I sprained my left wrist years ago I was totally helpless. I couldn't do anything with my right hand! It will be quite an adjustment for her!

WHOOPS, sorry. Perhaps I should clarify that it was a gravel road at that time and they liked to act like idiots out there? It was a long, completely flat stretch and they were usually trying to see how much speed they could get how fast...then probably slamming on the brakes.

Nothing Raymond would do, I'm sure. As for the immigrants...they took a turn to fast and missed the bridge.

Whenever I drive back to Arkansas, we hit a point close to the state line where we would know we were almost to the state line even without knowing the landmarks. Why? Because the driving suddenly degrades to INSANE IDIOT level. They get their driver's licenses out of cracker jack boxes.

It's what happens when you have a state that allows "emergency" driver's licenses for kids at age 14. Every other kid in some of the small towns has an "emergency" driver's license at age 14....
