Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Hey! I have a joke for the day too!

At Christmas time at school, the children brought gifts for their teacher.

The supermarket manager's daughter brought the teacher a basket of assorted
fruit.

The florist's son brought the teacher a bouquet of flowers.

The candy-store owner's daughter gave the teacher a pretty box of candy.

Then the liquor-store owner's son brought up a big, heavy box. The teacher
lifted it up and noticed that it was leaking a little bit.. She touched a
drop of the liquid with her finger and tasted it.

"Is it wine?" she guessed. "No," the boy replied. She tasted another drop and
asked, " Champagne ?.

"No," said the little boy..............

"It's a puppy!"

Well, believe it or not, I am up at 5am! I am making sandwiches and cutting carrots and celery for my dear husband to take to work....Oh BTW.... Tanya... what are you making for your DH's lunch? Mine is complaining about gaining weight. I have been sending more fruit and veggies but thought if you had any suggestions.......

Keep in mind to text you at 5 means I was texting at 4

I actually had to WAIT a half an hour because I didn't want to wake her or Des up!

Lunch, well ...

He cut down from one sandwich to two

Apples

Low fat granola bars

Celery, sugar snap peas, carrots, broccoli with ranch dip, made from fat free sour cream

Low fat Cheese stick

Fat free yogurt

I always sent a baked item before and he was determined I still do that so I bake the WW way! I have converted a few of his favorite recipes over and he says they are good.

I believe he said his lunch was around 8 - 10 WW points. Now that fruit is considered a FREE food, that helps too.

This may seem like a big lunch but he is away from home for about 16 - 18 hours. A lot of times the granola bar is for the commute home! Hope this helps.

My disclaimer, AND I am not accusing poor Rick of this but...
The lunches I was packing for my dear husband were never that bad to begin with ( one sand which instead of 2 and adding veggies were really the only change I made) the PROBLEM was the Town Pump Jalapeno corn dogs, candy bars and chips that stowed aboard his person while trying to escape the convenience store they were being held hostage in

I guess they don't notify you when your GFM is running out ..

I don't know when I got it .. or how long they last.

I just logged on this morning and my inbox was over full .. and I'm no longer GFM ..

If they had warned me .. I would have renewed..

Thanks for the suggestions! I also cut DH back from 2 sandwiches to one. Veggies and fruit. It doesn't help that he quit smoking either. He has been quizzing me lately, asking if I am going to start smoking again. Goofball...does anyone ever plan to start smoking?? "Oh yea... I'm going to start smoking on Monday....

It would be nice to get a PM notification, maybe we should suggest that

I saw a thread where Rob said the GFM $ was making it possible to add a few features, this sounds like a good one to me.

DH is taking me out to dinner tonight. We are going to the Elks lodge and having porkchops. We never go anywhere so I wanted to know why he decided to take me out. "Well dear... they are also having a knife and gun show tonight." "Don't forget the checkbook."
