Good Morning! We have -10 this morning. We got somewhere around a foot of snow. The drifts in the girls goat pen are taller than Bailey and Bella can barely look over them. Jasper's pen is almost snow free, it all drifted out. Of course he is warm and safe in the house. I am sure the girls have a few choice words for him!

I still can't get over a goat in the house -- too funny.

Yep, we made it to work today. Probably could have, hubby plowed the drive yesterday for us, but boss didn't seem to think we needed to try (he lives up the road from us) so we stayed home and let the town people take care of things.

Jasper was getting cabin fever by late yesterday afternoon and was beating up on Des and I! He stays in a kennel in our bedroom and we let him run around the house for a while and then let him outside for a while, but we don't take him out to his pen when there is "weather". Hubby's idea, not mine! He came home yesterday evening after being gone overnight Tuesday plowing and the first thing he asked was if we had been taking care of his baby! I talked to the lady with health issues that wants to rehome some of her goats and she thinks she has a perfect buddy for Jasper. Problem is, she wants me to come up and make a decision by Saturday morning because she needs to take them to sale then. I am not sure I can make it the 25 or so miles to her house right now.

Good morning ladies! Busy day for me today. No snow day for me, though all the K-12's around are off work. Colleges are mostly in session, except those southeast of the city where they got the most snow.

I am having a quick breakfast then off I go...

26 this morning .. high will be about 30 .. we're supposed to get snow .. 1-5 inches ..

I had to take hot water out in a jug to the coop to thaw out the waterers .. all my chickie babies were thirsty last night .. we haven't seen above freezing weather since noon the day before yesterday .. unusual for us ..

One rabbit casualty .. he's old, and the cold just kicked his butt .. we have him in the house, but I think he's a gonner .. poor baby. Julie's first show rabbit.. Derby "Bunny with an attitude"
