I work in Louisville, Georgia (pronounced Lewis-ville)

We are going back to Louisville Kentucky. I have not been fortunate enough to get down close to your area. Ever. I would love to sometime though. The south sounds wonderful!

i love Louisville, we have gone several times for Cattle shows. The horse ranches are so awesome. Beautiful country side. Love it Love it.

There probably would have been room! Sounds like Louisville has some cool haunted places. I seriously want to go on that tour!

Debating on whether to stop by Santa Claus, Indiana on our way back again too. That place is just too cool!

We are going to Santa Claus, she doesn't know it yet

How long are you guys going to be gone? Is this just a weekend trip?

I'm making salmon patties for lunch. Anyone ever make those?

BTW... neat pic of 8th GGF Tex! How cool that you could go back that far!

Yeah, just the weekend. We plan to leave Friday morning and come back Sunday. Wedding at 2 on Saturday.

I haven't made salmon patties forever, but I love them. How do you make them?

I am always afraid of leaving someone out too. If I do I don't mean it personally either, I am just a little flaky lately!

Seriously Charmed? Rick wouldn't throw your phone out the window if I called at 2 AM?! Thanks for the offer. Next time I will text you to see if by chance you are up.

Well Michelle, Des has spoken -- sounds like a done deal to me.

Salmon patties, i just love them. I use a can of salmon, eggs, flour and corn meal. I had a friend who would do it with tuna too. Just haven't ever got up the nerve to try it.

Oh I havent made Salmon Patties forever!! That sounds good

Jen is talking with the same University that Kenny is attending. Unfortunately she doesnt have inter net so she will be out here at 2 to "meet" with her Advisor, Jeff. He is also Kennys advisor and he is trying to get Jen through the application process. Tuesday she was on the phone with him and computer for 2 hours. So I am trying to get my noisy housework done now plus get my Internet time in with you. Then I am hoping for a nap while she is on the phone

I got my recipe from my MIL. She used

2 cans of salmon,
1 can of tuna(this was to stretch the salmon. You cant even tell its in there)
1 tube saltines minus 10 crackers crushed. (Yes minus 10 crackers)I put this in a baggie and use a rolling pin to crush
1 egg
dash salt

Mix, make patties and fry.

I haven't made them for a long time either. I am trying to find different things for dad to eat.
