it is snowing like crazy here and 5, yep, 5 degrees!! That picture I posted with the green grass just made me hate this white crap even more!! I miss my yard, flower beds and my garden.

I will see if I have some more pics handy. Some I know i have posted before, but our thread keeps growing, so they are always new to somebody

Did anyone watch BBT last night? It was great!!

Weekend assignment -- everyone takes pictures and post them of their beloved animals. all of them...


Michelle, that's funny how that worked out for both of us.


I have a hard time sexing cats. So when i took my cat critter to the vet to have him/her spade/neutered well I told the tech I was not sure whether he was a he or a she. Found out after they set critter up for a spay -- the doctor cut into him they discovered he was actually a he. So poor critter got spayed and neutered all in the same day. I found him at feed company, he could fit in the palm of my hand. they said they put him out so he could catch rats. heck he wasn't even as big as a rat. he was crying so loud when i found him. now he weighs about 15 pounds and is huge. i love my critter....

I just love my Rocky. He is just perfect, of course I am biased. We havent had him a year yet. We got him the week of our anniversary, first week in March, so almost. Kind of a neat story really. We had to rehome a dog that we had adopted because Raymonds dog was mean to him. After Raymonds dog passed we put an add on Craigs List looking for "Mac". A nice lady a few hundred miles away wrote and said that while she didn't have Mac she had a very sweet 5 year old lab that she was fostering ( she helps out at a local shelter) and she said he needed a forever home. So we agreed to take a detour (BIG) on our way home from our trip. We met her and her husband and they were the neatest people. She is in her 70s and her husband is about 10 years younger, she says she is no longer a Cougar but a wore out ole Mountian Lion

We visited with them for several hours and in the meantime Rocky laid down by our feet and when it was time to leave he jumped up in the pickup and didn't make a sound all the way home

He loves to do chores with me, go for walks, swim, play fetch and rides every where we go. You can leave him in the pickup with all your groceries even!!

I stayed up too late, so I am still tired today. But, I think it is going to be a better day.

Des has to work tonight, so she is not going to get to go but we promised her we would go back again soon and take her too. Mom thinks she may have changed her mind and wants to go but who knows with her. It was one of those days I wanted to

her. She called me 3 times yesterday. I just wanted to shoot myself.

After talking to sis last night and telling her about her crazy mother, I let her call her last night. I needed a break!

I was told when i adopted 2 cats from PCA that I had two boys and went to have them neutered only to find out I had 2 girls!!! and a bigger vet bill!
