We've been out putting chunks of bricks and cement blocks in the yard so my son will know where to dig for my garden plants.
He's got 12 holes to dig for berries and grapes that are waiting in the garage & then a flower/rhubarb bed in the area of lawn inside the pool fence. (Those plants are toxic -- rhubarb leaves & lilies). Then, I marked to show him where he'll be expanding my garden beds. Goal: Turn most of the backyard into a food growing area. There is enough space out there to grow virtually all of my fruits and veggies, once I get things planted and producing. I'm not used to having property where there is not FOOD growing all the time...
