Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

The bunnies are pretty! DH and I have been thinking about getting back into raising them ourselves. It has been about 7 years since we had any. We raised them for meat but I still enjoyed having them. I would not let myself get attached to the ones that were going to be killed but I did bond with the mothers since I never planned on killing them. When we stopped raising them (moved) I gave the breeding pair away to an old guy that wanted them for breeding too and knew they were too old to eat or at least I think he did.

I'd have to have a few house pets die before he's let me bring anymore in! 2 dogs 2 cats-multiple chicks-enough is enough-oh bearded dragon etc...yuck ! but I do want a bunny

I know exactly what you are saying! Luckily right now we just have Thunder and the 3 chicks in the house. Everything else moved out just in time for the bunnies to move in!

ok If I had only that in house he wouldn't say a word!!! Its the stupid dog peeing on carpets at night when we sleep -then he sneaks back into our rooms for cuddles!

I dont know what to do with that dog-all feed and water are removed by 7pm...he gets let out 3-4 times even after that and before we go to bed at 10pm...Im at a loss

What kind did you raise?

Sorry I went M.I.A. for awhile. Took a nap then my mother came over to get some eggs. She has started selling them for me at her school.

My first doe was a solid black mutt and first buck was a New Zealand white. My black doe was a better breeder than any of the New Zealand does I ever got after her. Buck was a good breeder though. If I get any more I will prolly just go with mutts. They are prettier that way and sell better around Easter or any time someone wants them as a pet.

I was just wondering what the best kind would be. Around here they would probably be closer to mutts anyway. I need to get the building set up before I do anything. If you don't mind, I may be asking a whole lot more questions!

What a precious pic of Ian!!

Ah the sweet little baby pic -- I love the way Ian is looking -- Like what the heck?

Tanya, glad you popped in -- There has not been any really juicy stuff happening that you have missed, just us chit chatting. Hope you are doing well.

Texas -- where are you?

I am almost like Nat -- I have never had children, too old now, but still love to see them babies.
