Thanks Nat. It is down to crunch time with Thunder. Hubby wanted to take care of it last night. It is very heart breaking because I know he can be a good dog.

I bought my first thing for the baby over the weekend. It was on clearance, but Des and I were just waiting for a baby to buy it for. It is a Mizzou fleece zip up with a tiger head on the hoodie! It is 24 month, but the smallest I could get for him. I also found him a swing that one of my friends has for sale. I decided to save my dimes for him, but still looking for the right coin bank type thing to keep them in!

I hate to say it but I know you will feel a HUGE sigh of relief if and when you choose to put Thunder down...My SIL had her dog for 10 years before she had her boys.. Out of no where (and not being pulled -tugged or scared) this dog went right at my nephews face and bit a chunk out of him! Many stitches later-they made the decision to put the dog down the next morning...She was preggers for her 2nd son when this happened and they were not going to chance it again...It's a horrible tough decision but if Thunder is biting people for no reason now...it will only get worse and escalate..Im so sorry Maybe Kelly will say something different ( and I pray Im wrong) but with how protective he is over you I can't see him getting better when you will be paying sooo much attention to the baby:( I love you and Im sorry...

Good mornig girls.

Wow Nat I think you should declare this week "lock down" for your saftey and stay in the house! LOL SOrry

Michelle I am so sorry about Thunder. I know how you feel and have been in your situation.

You have given Thunder much love and attention and he knows you love him. You also know how badly you would feel if someone got seriously hurt because you are aware it could happen. Thats what convinced me that it was the right choice. I just imagined how giulty I would feel if Raymond was attacked by his own dog. It had to be done and we miss him terribly but there was no other choice. I am sorry you are finding yourself there. We all understand

I don't want everyone here to think I am being rude about the baby they may not know that some of us already knew so Congrats!

Ditto.

Michelle - Congrats on being a Grandma! She's due in September and you're just now telling us?!

I could have sent so many baby boy clothes and now I gave a lot of them away! I will, however, need your address! Wait, you told some of us and not all of us? Double

As for Thunder, I would personally try some meds for him, but that's just me. I find it absolutely ridiculous that your vet wont prescribe them in this instance. I wonder if I could just write you a script and mail it...will have to look into legalities. My license is only for FL, but I prescribe meds to animals of Snow Birds

all the time. However, I want to say that it's also not wrong to put him down if that's the decision you want/need to make.

Nat - Sorry about all the injuries. Hope everyone heals quickly. Wyatt has a couple big goose eggs on his forehead right now b/c he crawls and pulls himself up, but isn't super stable yet.

Wyatt and I went to the beach Saturday with some friends and had a blast. He's finally big enough to play at the beach instead of being scared of everything. He loves to sit in the surf and play with the water, then he takes off crawling straight for the ocean.

to both of them! I can't believe she isn't showing enough to have to tell you before that! I was "showing" enough for people to ask when I was 14 weeks.
